Feeding Our Communities Partners (FOCP) is a nonprofit organization focused on ending local hunger, specifically through our first initiative, the BackPack Food Program, serving over 900 area elementary students within Blue Earth County on weekends and during ​school breaks.
MinnStar Bank is participating in a monthly challenge with FOCP. Each month, FOCP will have their DipJar in a different industry and be challenging those industries to raise funds against their peers, this month the challenge was to financial institutions.

FOCP is a local 501 C (3) non-profit organization. What better way to give back than to your own community? FOCP does not receive funding from the state or federal government. We rely on the generosity of local donors.
So how does it work? Essentially you slide your debit or credit card into the machine and it will take a $4 donation from you. This $4 donation is enough to feed one child for a normal weekend through the backpack food program. Our goal is to raise $250 between employees and customers over the next week.
