FAQs
How do I enroll in online banking?
Click on Access Your Accounts in the top menu bar, then select Register located beneath the Forgot Password link. You’ll be guided through a series of identification questions, and a one-time passcode will be sent via text or phone call to the number on file. After entering the passcode, you’ll need to review and accept the online banking terms and conditions. Next, you’ll create your own User ID and password. Once all steps are completed, you’ll be able to log in and begin using online banking. The User ID and password you create will also work for the mobile banking app.
How do I reset my online banking password?
Click on Access your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click on Forgot Password. You will need to type in your User ID, Email Address, and either your Last Name or Mobile Phone number. You will be prompted with a verification code that will be sent via text or phone call to the number on file. Once you enter this code, you will be able to set a new password.
What are the password requirements?
Passwords must be between 9-17 characters and include at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number and one special character (!, @, *, etc.)
Can I change my username for online banking?
Yes, you can do this by logging into your online banking account and selecting your name in the upper right corner then selecting Profile, then User ID.
Can my online banking account go inactive?
Yes, if you have not logged into your account in the last 390 days, your online banking account will be inactive. You may re-enroll by clicking on Access Your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of screen, then select Register.
How do I download the MinnStar Bank mobile app?
Using the app store on your mobile phone, search MinnStar Bank and select download. At the login page enter the same username and password you use to access online banking.
How do I sign up for eStatements?
Log in to your online banking account and navigate to the Accounts tab. From there, select Statement Preferences, then use the Delivery Option dropdown menu to choose your preferred statement delivery method. Once you’ve made your selections, click Save to confirm your changes.
Can I receive eStatements and paper statements?
No. You must select either eStatements or traditional paper statements.
How long do I have access to my eStatements?
eStatements are available for up to 18 months.
How do I find my check images for mobile deposit?
Check images are be viewed through your online banking account by navigating to the appropriate account and locating the transaction in question. Click on the transaction to open the details, then select View Check to see the check images. Check images are also included at the bottom of your eStatement or traditional paper statement.
What do I do if a check image is not printing?
If a blank rectangle is printing instead of the check image you may need to try using a different browser to print the check.
Can I make a loan payment through Bill Pay?
Yes. You can also make MinnStar Bank loan payments by performing a transfer from one of your MinnStar Bank checking or savings accounts.
What is online Bill Pay?
MinnStar Bank’s online bill pay allows you to pay your bills securely online all in one convenient spot. Some payments may still be sent via check on your behalf. You can set up automatic payments or schedule payments at regular intervals. You can sign up for bill pay via online banking.
